Hi. I'm Juan David Guerra.

I am a First Year M.ASc student at Polytechnique Montreal & MILA - Quebec AI Institute. I am under the supervision of Professor Marco Bonizzato, with co-supervisors Professors Guillaume Lajoie, Numa Dancause, and Lama Seoud. I completed my Honours B.Sc Computer Science at McGill University with a minor in Neuroscience, graduating with First Class Honours. My experiences range a variety of topics, currently focused on neuroprosthetics with Dr. Bonizzato and previous work in LLM Hallucinations with Dr. Golnoosh Farnadi, fMRI & TMS research through machine learning interpretability with Dr. Danilo Bzdok, and computational neuroscience with Dr. Erik Cook.

Here's all the stuff I do.

Computer Scientist

I develop algorithms, with a heavy focus on Artificial Intelligence - Machine Learning, to push the boundaries of research.

Neuroscience

Minoring in Neuroscience at McGill University and partaking in many Neuroscience based labs, including my master's research in Neuroprosthetics, have given me an in-depth knowledge of Neuroscience.

Volleyball

Volleyball enthusiast for my whole life. Played competitively at the high school varsity level as captain and MVP.3 years of indoor and beach coaching experience
